Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 August 2026

This policy explains what information Solly's Sites collects through this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It covers sollysites.com and the client portal we provide to customers.

What we collect

When you submit the "Let's build your site" form, we collect the details you provide — your name, business name, email, phone number, business type, the budget range you pick, the features you tick, and anything else you tell us about your project. If you email us directly instead, we keep that correspondence too, so we can pick up where we left off.

Everything you give us is voluntary. You decide how much to tell us and can leave the optional fields blank — though the less we know, the harder it is to quote you accurately. We don't ask for sensitive information such as government identifiers, and you shouldn't send any through the form.

How we use it

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and deliver the services you ask us for. In practice that means emailing you back, calling if there's a detail to sort out, and setting up the site, domain, email and hosting you've asked for.

We don't sell, rent, or trade your details, and we don't pass them to third parties for their own marketing. We may share information with the service providers who help us operate — for example our email and hosting providers — strictly so they can provide that service to us, and nothing beyond it.

Cookies

This site itself doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies, and there are no third-party advertising networks on it. Logged-in areas (our admin dashboard and client portals) use a small session cookie to keep you signed in — it's essential to the login working and it expires when your session ends. The site is served through Cloudflare, which may set minimal technical cookies for security and performance.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. That won't affect browsing the public site; it will stop the logged-in areas from being able to keep you signed in.

Data retention and access

We keep enquiry and client information for as long as we need it to provide our services and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, and remove it once it's no longer required.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email us and we'll confirm we've got your request and deal with it as quickly as we reasonably can. We may need to check who you are before releasing or changing anything, and in some cases we may have to keep certain records — billing history, for example — for as long as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top of it. Where a change is significant and affects information you've already given us, we'll tell you directly rather than rely on you noticing.

Questions about this policy, or about the information we hold, can be sent to solly@sollysites.com. If you're not happy with how we've handled something, tell us and we'll do our best to put it right.
